This original postcard depicts the large Weller floor vase, dubbed the 'World's Largest Vase', with a young girl.  The vase was made for the 1903 St. Louis Exposition, along with several other large Weller standard glaze vases exhibited at the fair.  This postcard likely dates to the early 1950s.  The vase was apparently on exhibit in Virginia at the time of the photo, as the card called for visitors to see the vase in person in New Market, VA.  This unposted postcard is in fine condition. A great piece of ephemera.
