This Weller Pottery World's Fair plate souvenir was produced for the 1904 Fair in St. Louis.  It measures 1/2" off the surface by 4.75"  in diameter.  It is glazed in a soft gray color, finished to a bisque mat.  It bears the image of Ulysses Grant, president of the US from 1869-1877.  This plate is block marked on the base.  It is in excellent condition, with a very good restoration to a small surface rim chip.
