This very large Weller Sydonia cornucopia vase, which presents like a large high-sided bowl, stands 8" high by 11" across by 7" wide. It has a very large footprint on a platform base. The body has a pleated blossom-like form, with leaves in abundance on the base of the blossom, a very creative design. It is glazed in Weller Sydonia blue, which is a medium blue glaze, mottled in an oyster frost, with green/brown leaves, in a fluid glaze, and it is finished in a beautiful satin matte. This vase is marked on the base with the incised 'Weller Pottery' script mark, and best of all it still retains its original paper label. It is in factory original condition, no apologies. This very handsome Weller Sydonia cornucopia vase makes a wonderfully wholesome transitional Arts and Crafts to Art Deco presentation!
