This Weller Bronze Lustre Ware vase stands 7.5" high by 3.5" in diameter at the base, and 1/2" at the rim. It has a very pleasing form, an octagonal with eight sides, with a nipple rim, flaring to a nice balanced footprint. It is from Weller's signature Lustre Ware line, which produced numerous colorful glazes in the 1920s, many monochromatic, and others like this one, having beautifully organic glaze combinations. This vase changes with each turn of the vessel, in copper and bronze hues, very handsome. It is marked x402 on the base, which is a typical mark for Weller from the period. This octagonal vase is in original factory condition, with the usual nuances common to lustre glaze lines, but no apologies, it presents beautifully.
