This lovely Weller Louwelsa original and unconverted oil lamp stands 20.5" overall (pottery portion 7.5" high) by 12" in diameter.  It has a spectacular form, on three feet with three wide rolled and flattened buttress-like handles, which connect the body to the collar, very handsome in its presentation.  It is glazed in an awesome standard reddish brown glaze, shading to green. It is beautifully decorated with orange/amber tone Crysanthemums, which are exceptially hand-painted by Hattie Mitchell, and initialed 'M' on the side of one handle, which is somewhat blurred by glaze, and several attempts to photograph it failed.  This vessel is well marked on the base with the Louwelsa imprinted stamp. This beauty is in original condition with two tiny no harm factory skips in the glaze, shown in the photos, but no damage or restoration.  The insert, which we believe is original is by Bradley and Hubbard, and marked B&H on the fill button, as shown in the photos. The brass ring that holds the lamp shade looks to have been polished or replaced along the way. We have never used this lamp as intended, nor have we added oil at any time, so it is dry. It has a frosted glass shade and clear glass chimney. This is a very handsome Weller Louwelsa original lamp in a gorgeous glaze combination, you'll love it!
