This Weller Hudson Light vase stands a monumental 14" high by 7" in diameter. It has a classic form with a broad shoulder. This vessel is decorated with white Rose blossoms which are bold and beautiful. The glaze colors are in the classic Hudson Light color palette in soft muted pastels dominated in white and gray with lavender and blue hues. This large vase has generalized crazing as can be seen in the photos. This vase was used as alamp in its early life as evidenced by a very good restoration to a small hole in the base. There was a heavy crazing line on the backside, which has been restored and colored. This very large vase presents handsomely. It does have the small WELLER block stamp on the bottom, which is hard to read, but it is ther and it is guaranteed to be Weller Hudson Light from c1920.
