This handsome Lukens Studio vase measures 7.25" high by 4" in diameter. It has a hand-thrown form, a simple vessel in a rich brown glaze. It is especially well made by a skilled potter, and feels great in-hand. It is glazed in a rich and thick lush semi-gloss brown glaze loaded with character. It is hand-incised with the name Lukens on the base, along with the numbers 74, which may be a shape number or a date. It is in original studio condition, with a nice heft and it feels great in-hand.
