This handsome Van Briggle cowboy hat measures 2" high by 6" in length and 4" wide.  It is glazed in their signature Mulberry glaze, which is a light mulberry, finished to a satin matte sheen.  It is well marked Van Briggle on the underside, along with the initials cipher that possibly reads 'JDH' or perhaps 'DJH'?...a mystery for now.  This hat is in very good condition, with a restoration to a superficial small chip on the rim edge.  It makes a handsome presentation.
