This Van Briggle vase stands 9" high by 8.5" in diameter at its widest by 5" at the rim opening. It has a full-bodied ball form. There are embossed flowers and leaves, which appear to be Cone Flowers to my eye, cloaking the vessel from tip to toe, a nice early Arts & Crafts design from 1908 by Anne Gregory Van Briggle. It is glazed in Van Briggle's signature turquoise/blue glaze, which is shaded and blushed light and dark, accenting the design beautifully. This vessel is well marked on its base with the cojoined AAs, and VAN BRIGGLE in caps, Colo. Spgs, dating this to the 1930s. The shape number is 754. It is in original condition, no apologies. This vase is a nice 1930s example of Van Briggle Pottery, in a pleasing glaze.
