This University of North Dakota School of Mines UND Bulb bowl stands 1.5" high by 7.5" in diameter. It has a handsome low bulb bowl form, simple and functional, and it feels great in hand, a very well made pot. It is glazed in a nice mat green glaze, which is a bit richer in depth of color than the photos suggest. It is well marked on the base, along with a cipher that appears to be MEP, so perhaps Margaret Pachl. It is also marked 1915, which I thought was the date, but Pachl joined UND much later, so not sure if it is the number of the piece by Pachl. There is also a cipher in the center of the bowl, aside from the UND ink stamp, that looks to be a cipher, but I cannot read the initials. This handsome bulb bowl is in original condition, no apologies. It makes a handsome Arts & Crafts presentation!
