This Shearwater Pottery footed vessel stands 4.25" high by 7.25" in diameter by 2.5" at the base foot. It has a classic conical hand-thrown form with natural hand-ribbing over the body. It is glazed in a wonderful charcoal gunmetal glaze, with a subtle metallic presentation. This conical vase dates to c1940, and is impressed Shearwater on the base. It is in original studio condition, with its organic hand-thrown character, a wavy rim, and finished in a killer glaze.
