This Royal Haeger/Royal Hickman Fish on a Wave vase stands 9" high by 6" long by 4" wide. It has a handsome form with a fish balanced on cresting waves, a classic form by Hickman, which he also used at the Royal Haeger Pottery when he worked there, as well as in his Florida Studios. This handsome fish is glazed in a pink ground, with a wonderful frothy oyster blush overglaze, which is concentrated over the waves like a frothy ocean spray. This piece is marked '610' on the base, presumably its shape number. This is likely Haeger as opposed to Hickman given its glaze composition. It is in original factory condition, no apologies. If you like Haeger/Hickman fish figural vases, this 'pretty in pink' one is a beauty!
