This Royal Doulton stoneware vase stands 8" high by 3.5" in diameter, 4" at the base. It has a pleasing flared form. It is glazed in a ground of blue, peppered in a deeper cobalt blue, with a brilliant brown interior glaze. It is decorated in an art deco style with stylized pink blossoms and green leaves by artist Emma Martin, whose initials are etched into the underside by the registration marks. This vessel is marked Royal Doulton, a mark dating to 1927-1956, and likely dates to the early 1930s, given its decorating style. It is in original condition, no apologies.
