This Roseville Velmoss II vase stands 9.25" high by 8" across the handles by 5.5" in diameter. It has a full-bodied handled vase form. This vessel is cloaked in berries and leaf clusters over a three-line design band in relief on both sides, a great Art Deco presentation. This line was produced in 1935. The vase is glazed in a gorgeous mottled slate blue, with an icy frost, which really looks as if snow is falling onto the vessel, a fabulous glaze effect. It is adorned with stylized leaves and berries in green and creme, a great contrasting accent. This vase is marked with stray potter's number codes, and is shape number 719-9. It is in excellent condition, with restoration to a simple glaze fleck at the tip of one handle. It presents beautifully.
