This Roseville early pitcher stands 7.25" high by 6" in diameter, and 7.5" handle to spout. It has a classic milk pitcher form. It is beautifully decorated with a country 'Tulips', with a wooden barrel design, a rather clever presentation. This pitcher has an old world styling, a nice Roseville early pitcher, perfect for a farmer's kitchen or any pitcher collection. There was probably a pitcher like this in every household in the 1900-19-teens period. It is glazed in a creamy, buttery white ground, framed in a nice amber glaze, with complementary colors in the decoration, boasting blue Tulip blossoms, and finished to a semi-gloss. It is unmarked, but guaranteed to be vintage Roseville, circa 1910. This pitcher is in excellent condition, with a factory clay separation at the spout, with a couple of minor surface nicks, and a glazed over factory chip on the handle, all shown in the photos. Considering its age of more than 100 years old, this hard-to-find pitcher makes a great presentation, with nice color. It has some factory crazing, and some minor staining from use, along with the usual factory glaze pops and bubbles, which can be seen in the photos. If you like early Roseville pitchers, this is a very handsome example!
