This Roseville Montacello vase stands a tall 9.5" high by 8.5" across the handles by 8" in diameter, tapering to 4.5" at the rim. It has a full-bodied form with sloped handles connecting the shoulders to the collar. This vase has a fabulous cinnamon frosted glaze, with great mottling, and the stylized blossom design gives this Arts & Crafts vase a beautiful presentation. The glaze colors blend nicely on this form, which is shape number '564'. It is marked in pencil with its shape number on the base, along with its original black paper label. At some point in its life this vase was drilled for a lamp, and was restored back to a vase. It is in excellent restored condition, with restoration to a tiny drill hole in the base and opposing short lines at the rim, likely from a tight metal cap at its rim. This vase presents handsomely.
