This Roseville Gardenia ewer stands a monumental 16" high by 5" across the handle by 5"in diameter. It has a very tall and slender, yet statuesque Art Deco form, with an exaggerated and reticulated pouring spout, with a side handle. This ewer is adorned with a broad band with beautifully crisp Gardenia blossoms, in a creamy white, with green leaves. It is glazed in a ground of lush soft green, finishing to a deeper green wash over the base, simply a stunning presentation. This ewer is marked 'Roseville, U.S.A., 618-15, and guaranteed to be vintage Roseville from c1950. It is in near original condition, with a no-harm factory skip on the top edge of the spout and a tiny nick on the base edge, both shown in the photos.
