This Roseville Dogwood I or Smooth texture basket stands 8" high by 4.5" across the wide side by 4.25" in diameter. It has a beautiful reticulated form, with an arching branch handle, which is sort of rounded. Roseville produced many baskets in this line and they all have great forms, with fabulous handles. This basket is reticulated at the rim and handle, and is adorned with cascading Dogwood blossoms on each side. It is glazed in a ground of rich green, with creamy white blossoms and black/brown thick woodsy branches. This basket is unmarked. Usually, pieces of this era of Roseville have an 'Rv' ink stamp, but we do guarantee this basket to be vintage Roseville, circa 1920. It is in factory original condition, no apologies. This Dogwood basket makes a very handsome Arts & Crafts presentation!
