This Roseville Creamware Nursery baby rolled-edge baby plate measures 1.25" high by 7.5" in diameter. It depicts the nursery rhyme 'Little Jack Horner sat in a corner eating his Christmas Pie' in rich, lush colors in the transfer, with green piping trim. It is glazed in Roseville's signature Creamware ivory glaze, with overall fine generalized crazing that is clean. This plate is titled 'Baby's Plate' on the rolled rim. The colored transfer, which is not perfectly centered, is beautifully colored and in remarkably good condition, likely not used for its original purpose. It is unmarked, but guaranteed to be vintage Roseville Pottery from c1920s. It is in original factory condition, with a tiny no harm factory dimple in the clay on the rim edge, glazed over, and shown in the close up photos, but no apologies. This sweet nursery baby plate makes a very rich presentation!
