This Rookwood Production vase stands a tall 10" high by 6.5" in diameter, 5.25" at the rim. It has a very pleasing form, with what appear to be Dahlia blossoms and leaves in relief over the entire vessel. This vase was designed by Sallie Toohey, who was also a decorator at the Rookwood Pottery. The vase is glazed in a simple, yet striking yellow mat, which thins at the high points, accentuating the design most handsomely. This vase is well marked and it is dated 1928, shape number 6035. This vase is in factory original condition, no apologies. If you collect Rookwood Pottery, this is a very handsome pot.
