This Rookwood vase stands 7.25" high by 5" in diameter.  It has a handsome form with a bulbous bottom, with a nice pleated or lobed neckline.  It is glazed in Rookwood's signature Oxblood glaze on the exterior, a deep ruby red, and lined in white on the interior.  It is finished to a mirror gloss.  This vase is well marked and dated 1949.  It is in mint condition, no apologies.  This vessel makes a very nice presentation.
