This Orient & Flume paperweight measures 1.75" high by 2.5" in diameter, and weighs 10 oz. It has a rounded form and it is adorned with a stylized blossom, with leaves cloaking the sides, in rich colors in deep purples and white accents, with a mother-of-pearl satin iridescence. This paperweight is marked Orient & Flume on the base, along with the code 50S 73, which is for 1973. It is in excellent condition, no blemishes. 
The artists at the Orient and Flume Studio have been designing and creating fine Art Glass in Northern California since 1972. The Studios' designers include Bruce Sillars, Scott Beyers, Chris Sherwin, William Carter and Richard Braley. Artists at the Orient and Flume Studio work individually or in collaboration to design and produce this beautiful glass. Drawn from nature, most Orient and Flume designs echo a common theme.
