This handsome Niloak Novelty Line mythical figural 'Pipes of Pan' planter/bowl stands 7" high by 5.5" across by 6" in diameter. It is a happy figural form, with 'Pan' seated on the rose bowl rim, as if at the edge of a pond watching the water creatures below.  He holds his famed 'Pipe flute' in one hand, while balancing himself with the other.  This little guy is glazed in a wonderfully bright ivory glaze color, and finished in a glossy sheen. This 'Pipes of Pan' bowl is unmarked, but guaranteed to be vintage Niloak c1940s.  It is in original condition, no apologies.
