This fun salt and pepper set stands 5.5" high by 2.5" across by 3.25" wide. The nesting baby kangaroo measures a mere 2.5" high by 1.5" across by 1.75" wide. They are glazed in a semi-mat orange glaze. Each is marked Japan, and they hail from c1950. They each retain their original corks in the bottoms. They are in original condition, with just a pinpoint glaze skip on the larger kangaroo's side knee. These kinds of S&P sets were a common staple in the US during the 1940s-50s. The Japanese copied similar American designed sets for import.
