This very handsome Metlox cowboy boot measures 5.25" high by 5.25" long by 2" wide. The Metlox Company made a series of miniature figures, in this style, all of which are rather hard-to-find. This boot has a classic form, but best of all, it is glazed in a beautiful aqua/green glaze, over a rust under glaze, which is very fluid, blending with feathered accents, a gorgeous glaze effect. This boot is marked, albeit hard to read on the underside as can be seen in the photos, but guaranteed to be vintage original Metlox Pottery, with a bonus of having a fairly rare foil paper label, which reads 'Miniatures by Metlox, Manhattan Beach, California'. This boot is in factory original condition, with the usual factory glaze nuances.
