This Maigon Daga modern stoneware vessel stands 7.25" high by 2.5" in diameter, and 1.5" at the rim. This vase has a simple straight form with carved vertical lines. It is glazed in a wonderfully organic mat yellow glaze. It is marked on its base 'Daga', along with a number code. This vase is in original studio condition, no apologies. It was produced by Maigon Daga in his studio in Minneapolis. Maigon Daga, a Latvian immigrant to the United States via Germany and Australia opened his 'Daga Design Studio' around 1970, and produced pottery until his death in 2001.
