This very simple rose bowl stands 2.25" high by 4.5" in diameter. It has a pleasing rose bowl form with a rolled rim. This vessel is glazed in a simple yellow glaze and finished to a satin mat sheen. It is marked with the Kenton Hills tulip logo on the underside, along with the initials 'HB" for the artist Harold Bopp, and its shape number 91. This rose bowl is in studio original condition, with some factory peppering in the glaze as can be seen in the photos. Kenton Hills Porcelain and Pottery was located in Erlanger, Kentucky. They produced pottery, including vases and figurines that resembled Rookwood, likely because so many of the original artists and workmen had worked at the Rookwood plant prior to moving over to Kenton Hills. The pottery opened on January 22, 1940 and closed during World War II.
