This Made in Japan Bird wallpocket measures 12" high by 4" across by 4" deep.  It depicts a large Cockatoo with a nice headress, perched on a tree branch.  It's amazing his tail has not been knocked off over years of handling.  The bird has nice markings, in rich colors, very well executed handpainting.  It is unmarked on the backside, with some stray blue ink, which may be a smudged ink stamp.  This wallpocket is in original studio condition, along with the usual glaze nuances of MIJ products.
