This very handsome mid-century modern vessel depicts an Asian design. It was likely designed by Frances Moody for the Hyalyn Co., which she owned with her husband Leslie. Both were professional ceramic designers with extensive experience. This vase stands 8.5" high by 4" square with rounded corners. It is glazed in a lush and rich green glaze finished in a glossy sheen. It is well marked Hyalyn 204, its shape number on the base and is guaranteed to be an original Hyalyn vessel from the early 1950s. It is in original condition, no apologies.
