This Hampshire Pottery vase stands 8" high by 4.25" across the handles by 4" in diameter, and 3" in diameter at the rim. It has an unusual form with a cinched collar and handles at its sides. It is a quality pot with a wonderful heft in hand. This vase is glazed in Hampshire's signature matte blue glaze, with a charcoal and gray mottled blush, which is quite rich, with tremendous depth and character. It is well marked 'Hampshire Pottery' on the base, along with its shape number 156. It has its original paper label, one we've never encountered before, and it reads 'Hampshire Ware', '1871'. This vessel is in original condition, no apologies. It makes an awesome Arts & Crafts presentation.
