This Fulper bowl stands 3" high by 11" in diameter. It has a classic bulb bowl form, a handsome quilted/carved design with a rolled rim. It is Fulper shape number 81M, and it is the midsize version of the three sizes. This bowl is glazed in a handsome combination of pale yellow/oatmeal with an ivory frosted effect, and laced with whispy random threads of blue in a satin mat finish. This bulb bowl is marked on the base with a racetrack squared ink stamp, dating it to c1909-1917. This bowl is in very good condition, with a professinal; restoration to opposing fine lines, along with the usual factory glaze nuances common to Fulper glazes. This nice larger bulb bowl makes a very rich and handsome presentation.
