This Fulper flower frog stands 5.75" high by 4" in diameter. It has a beautiful form, which depicts a child-like 'Pan' on a leafy platform, which has holes for arranging flowers. 'Pan' was known as 'God of the wild', a shepherd of flocks, and a companion to nymphs, a wonderful mythological character. He is glazed in a creamy white glaze, laced with hints of green, on a bed of green leaves, which present as if they were balanced on a seed pod or flower head, a very playful presentation. This 'Pan' flower frog is marked on the base with an ink stamp oval racetrack mark, and shape number 383. It is in excellent condition, with a very good restoration to a glaze chip on his shoulder. This sweet child-like 'Pan' flower frog makes a wonderful presentation!
