This handsome Fulper vase stands 10" high by 5.5" in diameter. It has a classic form, simple, with a rolled rim. This vase is glazed in a handsome medium blue glaze with deeper flecks of blue, with a subtle lavender hue, in a semi-matte finish. The base, which has a drill hole, is covered in thick glaze, so it is unmarked, but guaranteed to be vintage Fulper Pottery. The drill hole is clean on the base, but there is some clay splintering on the interior. It likely has spent much of its life as a lamp, a common thing for a large Fulper pot in the day. It has the usual glaze nuances common to Fulper pots, with glaze pinholes and thicker areas of glaze at the rim. It makes a very handsome presentation.
