This handsome Flemish earthenware vessel stands 4.25" high by 4" in diameter. It has a wonderfully organic three-handled form, glazed in a very handsome old-world combination glaze of three colors dominated in deep blue, with touches of yellow and green. It is marked 'FLEMISH' on the underside and was likely produced in the early 20th century in Torhout, Belgium. Art potter Leo Maes Vereenooghe worked in this style, in fact, the glaze mirrors his work both in glaze and form. He was active in Torhout from 1891-1909. This three-handled vessel is in original condition, no apologies.
