This lovely pyrography expandable bookrack measures 5" high by 15.5" across by 5.5" wide.  This rack extends to 25.5", a long rack to accommodate many books. It was likely produced by the Flemish Art Company in New York at the turn of the last century.  It is a nice early Flemish bookrack, with a gorgeous deeply carved Daisies/Leaves motif.  There are finely carved accent details on both end caps, and a very nice arrowhead design along the long sides of the rack as shown in the photos. The original patina is a deep beautiful brown.  It has a working brass hinges for the end caps, and the rack expands easily.  This bookrack does not bear the Flemish Art mark.  It is in original condition, no apologies.  This vintage expandable bookrack makes a very rich Arts & Crafts presentation.
