This Edgecomb Pottery Crystalline bowl measures 2.25" high by 8" in diameter. It has a very pleasing form with a loosely ruffled and notched rim edge, very handsome. It has a very nice glaze, laden with blue crystals over a gray/blue underglaze called 'Bahama Blue', a great glaze combination. This bowl is marked Edgecomb Pottery on the base, guaranteed to be Edgecomb Pottery from Portland, Maine, c1980s. It is in near original studio condition, with the usual glaze nuances common to crystalline glazed-pots, including a no harm glaze chip on the edge of the rim, which is not obvious, you have to look for it. This crystalline glazed bowl makes a handsome presentation.
