This Edgecomb Pottery Crystalline bowl measures 2.25" high by 8" in diameter. It has a very pleasing form with a loosely ruffled and notched rim edge, very handsome. It has an awesome glaze, laden with heavy blue crystals over an ochre underglaze, a great glaze combination. This bowl is marked Edgecomb Pottery on the base, albeit difficult to see in the photos, guaranteed to be Edgecomb Pottery from Portland, Maine, c1980s. It is in original studio condition, with the usual glaze nuances common to crystalline glazed-pots, including a no harm tiny glaze bubble, which is not obvious, given its really wonderful glaze. This bowl has a 'pick-me-up' attitude, a beautiful object.
