This tile measures 1/4" thick by 3.75" square. It is hand-painted with a classic Mexican theme of a man riding a burro, while holding a large bundle. We think it is likely early California or Mexican in origin, and likely with age. It has beautiful colors, with a southwestern themed landscape with clouds in the sky and a cactus in the background. This tile, of red brick clay, is unmarked. It is in original condition, no apologies. This popularly themed tile makes a very handsome presentation.
