This gorgeous porcelain charger was made by Haviland in France for the china-painting trade. It measures 12.25" in diameter. It has a large and ornately decorated form. It is decorated in a beautiful Poppies motif. The artist used magnificent colors, which are finished in a satin semi-gloss sheen. It is unsigned by the artist, but it i dated 1902 along one of the flower stems in gilt. This lovely charger is in original condition, no apologies. If you appreciate china-painted wares, you just found a keeper, it's stunning!
