This very handsome Burley Winter floor vase with Grecian figural forms in relief from Crooksville, Ohio stands 17.25" high by 10" in diameter. It has a full-bodied tall form flaring to its corseted and collared rim. It is noted in the Burley Winter reference book by Swingle & Stoin on page 19, item D. The Burley Winter Pottery was in operation from around 1912 until 1932, according to the references. This vessel is glazed in a signature Burley green over rose drip glaze, finished to a semi-flat mat, the same glaze as pictured in the reference book by Stoin. It is marked Burley Winter on its base, and guaranteed to be vintage Burley Winter from the period. This vessel is in original condition, no apologies. It is a solid, large and very heavy form, so shipping will based upon your zip code. Its size is impressive and it makes a rich Arts & Crafts presentation.
