This Weller beauty stands 7.5" high by 5.25" in diameter, a nice full-bodied form. The design of leaves and flower blossoms, which have a carved effect, is done in a gorgeous Art Deco style. It was produced by the Weller Pottery in the early 1930s. The glaze is a rich golden yellow with deep reddish brown in the crevices, which is like the touch of velvet, just beautiful! This vessel is marked Weller, in script, on the base. It is in excellent condition, with a very good restoration to a small surface chip on the exterior rim. This vase makes a very handsome presentation.
