This Weller Klyro basket stands 6" high by 5.75" across by 2.75" wide. Klyro is a very pretty line from the 1920s. It has a sort of Art & Crafts styling, with an interesting footed form, with a rounded handle, and four feet at the base. It is a pillow form, and it is adorned with a sweet trailing spray of blossoms, fruit and leaves on each side. This basket is glazed in a very pleasing matte light brown shaded glaze, with red blossoms and blue berries or grapes, banded in a deeper brown glaze, which is a perfect accent. It is finished to a satin matte. This basket is well marked, and we guarantee it to be vintage Weller Pottery. It is in original condition, with the usual glaze nuances common to handpainted lines, but no apologies. The Klyro pattern has emerged as a very desirable 1920s Weller line, and this sweet little basket is a beauty!
