This handsome Weller jug stands a demure 5.5" high by 5" across by 4" wide. It has a shapely jug form, with a topside handle. We've seen this form in the Louwelsa line, but this is the first bronzeware glaze we've seen on the jug form.  The glaze is true in the photos, a lustrous coppery bronze color, with a brilliant sheen.  This jug is unmarked, but guaranteed to be vintage Weller Pottery c1905. This handsome jug is well over 100 years old, and it is in excellent original condition, with some glaze nuances and handling marks. There are dark shadows in the photos from camera glare. If you appreciate early Weller forms and glazes, you will appreciate this handsomely glazed little jug!
