This Van Briggle cabinet vase measures 4.5" high by 3.25" in diameter. This vase is decorated with stylized violets and leaves, a handsome design by Emma Kinkead starting in 1907. It is glazed in a very rich Mountain Crag glaze, brown to a green blush over the leaves. This vase is well marked in capital letters, and guaranteed to be vintage Van Briggle dating to the early to mid- 1930s. It is in original factory condition, very organic in hand, feels hand thrown, but I think these were molded in the 1930s. This richly glazed Van Briggle vessel, with a handsome early motif makes an awesome Arts & Crafts presentation!
