This impressive Van Briggle vase stands 13" high by 6.5" in diameter at the base and 3" at the rim. It has a pleasing form, rather large, with a nice bulb rim. It is a design from 1910, shape 820. It is decorated with long leaves and panels. It is glazed in Van Briggle's Mulberry and deep blue overflow blushed glaze, a very nice glaze combination! This vase is well marked on its base with the cojoined AAs and VAN BRIGGLE in capital letters, so it dates to the late 1920s-early 1930s. It is in original condition, no apologies. This vessel is a very handsome example Van Briggle Pottery, you will not be disappointed!
