This very nice Trent stove tile measures 3" in diameter by .25" thick. It has a simple rounded form with a medallion of a woman wearing a scarf, very pretty. It is glazed in a nice medium blue glaze, with a glossy sheen. This stove tile is unmarked, but well documented in the tile book by Norm Karlson as Trent. This tile is in good stable condition, with tiny surface glaze chips on the side edges, as shown in the photos, and generalized factory inclusions under the glaze, and factory crazing. As stove tile go, it presents beautifully. This near 120-year old portrait stove tile makes a very nice presentation!
