This gorgeous Roseville Russco vase stands 8.25" high by 4.5" in diameter at the rim. This vase has a full-bodied pedestaled form, with slender inverted bud handles at its sides. There is a telescoped series of tabs within long vertical lines in the center front and back of the vase. The design is a transitional one, claiming the periods of Arts & Crafts and the style and grace of Art Deco. The glaze is green and yellow with a pearlized crystallized matrix glaze in platinum highlights, just beautiful! This vase is marked with its shape number 696 in red grease pencil, and guaranteed to be vintage Roseville. It is in excellent condition, with a very good restoration to four small rim chips/nicks, and it presents beautifully. If you collect this line, this is a stellar example of Roseville's Russco glaze.
