This Roseville Clematis Cookie Jar measures a respectable 10" high by 8" across the handles by 7.5" in diameter. This jar, which was made in 1944, has a lidded form, a size perfect for its purpose. It is decorated with two white Clematis blossoms with yellow centers on the front and one on the backside, with green leaves. The mold and color are great. It is glazed in Roseville's signature Clematis blue ground, with beautifully complementary colors and finished to a smooth satin matt. This jar is well marked on the base, Roseville USA, 3-8, along with some red pencil number/letter codes. It is in factory original condition, with two no harm small glaze skips on the lid and a clay pop on the base edge, but no apologies. This jar makes a very crisp presentation!
