This Rookwood Production vase stands 7.25" high by 3" in diameter. It has a hexagonal form, with a band of square blossoms around the shoulders of the vase. This vessel was designed by Kataro Shiriyamadani, one of Rookwood's most accomplished artists of the Arts & Crafts period. It is glazed in an organic mustard mat glaze that thins at the high points, accenting the form and design beautifully. It has a wonderfully masculine feel to it. This vase is well marked and it is dated 1920, shape number 1812. This handsome vessel is in factory original condition, with a pencil '15' notation that is faint, and shown in the last photo.
