This Rookwood Production vase stands 7" high by 3.75" in diameter. It has a classic form, with a very handsome design motif, which presents like trees, but could be a highly stylized blossom. This form was designed by Albert Cyrus Munson. It is glazed in a gorgeous deep matte purple glaze, which thins at the high points, allowing the clay color to peek through, a very rich presentation for a production piece. This vase is well marked and it is dated 1922, along with its shape number 2141. This handsome vessel is in original condition, no apologies.
